Call for More Engineers in Britain’s Future
Allan Cook, chief executive of Cobham, has called for a focus on teaching young people how to build things. Cobham are the world leaders in the manufacturing of antennas for aircraft and helicopters. Allan Cook wants the UK to produce more engineers, physicists and mathematicians and as chairman of the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing he wants a greater focus on the engineering industry for success in Britain’s future.
