Radio Engineers - Full training given
Salary: £22,000 pa, plus overtime - Excellent Earning potential to c.£40,000 pa.
Our Client specialises in the supply of two-way radio systems; to the rail industry. They provide on-site Radio Engineers to maintain, manage and assist with all communications requirements across the rail network, typically covering weekend maintenance works.
Our client is looking to recruit Radio Engineers and they will provide full training.
Applicants will need to be reliable, trustworthy, have a full clean UK driving licence and be happy to do shift work (nights and days) and be available to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month; including bank holidays.
The Radio Engineers are an integral part of track-side operations within the Rail Industry, providing two way radio communications, working across rail maintenance sites across London - East Anglia - Kent areas. on sites, travelling from the office base in Bishop's Stortford.
Due to the nature of the work involved, this role requires driving the company van from the office in Bishop's Stortford to various railway stations or railway locations site in the London, Anglian and Kent regions. Overnight accommodation is provided depending on the location.
- Can commit to working weekends (3 out of 4 per month) and bank holidays
- Rail experience is desirable, but not essential
- PTS is desirable, but not essential
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Good communication and people skills are essential
- Candidates will need to be located within commutable distance of Bishop's Stortford
Salary: £22,000 pa, plus overtime offering excellent earning potential.
Typical working week is Thursday to Sunday
